Mosaic 1898 Direct Payments Support Service are supporting a disabled lady to find a female Personal Care Assistant for 5 hours of support on Wednesday afternoons, in the LE3 area of Leicester City.
Wednesdays 12 noon – 5pm, 5 hours per week.
Person Specification
A caring, and patient support worker, with experience with autism/neurodivergence is essential. The individual has a fully qualified assistance dog, so applicants also need to be comfortable with dogs.
Duties:
To assist in all areas of personal and domestic need as required, and to act as an escort and aid to the employer’s social and day to day activities.
• Preparation of breakfast, lunch, and evening meals.
• General household duties: -
• dusting
• vacuuming / mop
• empty bins
• make and change bed
• cleaning of rooms
• laundry / drying / ironing clothes
• washing up.
• Assistance with shopping and associated tasks.
• Escort to other business and social meetings/events, as the lady goes out every day with the support of her PAs
• Occasional assistance with personal care support if the lady is unwell:
• Showering
• bathing
• toileting
• dressing
Skills and Qualifications required
Requires driver with Full Clean UK manual driving license as you may be required to drive the lady's mobility vehicle. You must be aged 25+ for mobility vehicle insurance purposes.
