Colton Care:

Person-centred care at home and in the community for

disabled adults.

At Colton Care, we support disabled people to live independently and empower them to live well through our home care, community care and supported living services.

We're registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and offer flexible and person-centred community services to adults living with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, dementia, and other life limiting health conditions.

We recognise the unique abilities, interests, and aspirations of the people we support. Our team build meaningful relationships with the people they care for, their families, and support them to live healthy, safe, and fulfilled lives.

Colton Care:  Care at Home

Our home care support helps you to live independently in your own home.

Here are some ways in which our support can help:

  • Help around the house, such as cleaning, and support with shopping, managing finances and correspondence

  • Personal care, such as getting showered or bathed, getting dressed, and using the toilet

  • Assisting with medication, preparing, and helping to administer

  • Supporting with eating and drinking, such as cooking, meal preparation and assisting with feeding

We can also support you with overnight care, or even 24-hour around the clock care if that's what you need and want.

Complex Needs and PMLD Support

We pride ourselves in supporting people living with complex health issues. Our care teams are highly trained, experienced, and compassionate about delivering quality person-centred care.

Respite Care

Every carer needs a break. Whether its for an afternoon or a couple of weeks, we can give you the peace-of-mind that your loved one is being well cared for whilst you enjoy a well-earned rest.

Colton Care:  Community Care

Two people playing and enjoying hoopla.

We offer a flexible community and social inclusion support service.

We can support you with your daily activities to maintain your independence, whilst providing a friendly face to share interests and hobbies with.

Our support team will help you to achieve your personal goals and aspirations, while providing you with companionship and care.

We will work with you and those who are near and dear to you to tailor our support to your needs. Some of the ways we can help are:

  • by accompanying you on everyday errands, appointments (medical or otherwise), or just some extra company at home.

  • by supporting you to access your favourite things to do out in the community, joining you on your social outings from coffee in the city or going to the cinema, to music concerts and once in a life time events.

Our community care proudly supports some of the most isolated people in our society to create lasting memories, gain confidence, build self-esteem, develop their social skills, and promote independence.

Colton Care: Supported Living

We manage a supported living scheme of six independent flats in Braunstone Town, Leicester for adults living with disabilities.

Supported living is a service designed to help people with additional care needs to retain their independence by being supported within a housing scheme.

People in supported living can have their own tenancy and are often responsible for their own bills and cost of living but may have support from a local care service.

Supported living helps people navigate and overcome the barriers their disability would otherwise create. Instead, creating an environment where the very same people can live happy lives filled with ambition.

We're here to support and encourage every person we care for to chase and live their best lives.
