Warwick Best,

Chairperson

I am originally from Cornwall, although I now live in a small village near Loughborough, Leicestershire. I have had various jobs these include being a chef, a pub landlord and running various night clubs. My last job had a dual role firstly as a senior university lecturer specialising in motivation. Secondly as an industry consultant to various pub chains such as J. D. Wetherspoon, and Everards. I took early retirement in 2010 and became a trustee at mosaic in 2011.

Karen Cane,

Vice Chairperson

I am a retired Primary School Headteacher and I have been a volunteer for mosaic: shaping disability services for about 13 years as a crew member on the narrowboat Sunbeam, and now as crew/skipper on Sunbeam II.
In 2016 I became a Trustee for the charity and am currently Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Trustees.
I am married to Michael (also a skipper and Sailability volunteer), and have two children and six grandchildren.

Janet Easingwood,

Trustee

I am 72 years old and have been a trustee for mosaic for 4 or 5 years.

I was introduced to mosaic by a very dear friend of mine and have been stuck ever since!

I had a wonderful time raising money for the new Sunbeam boat, Sunbeam II and still hope to raise much more!
