Criminal Record Bureau Checks

As an ‘umbrella’ organisation we can carry out CRB checks on staff employed by people using Direct Payments and volunteers working in other organisations.


Visiting Service

Disabled people can receive a regular visitor in their own home.


Services for Young People

Provides support and activities to all disabled young people aged between 12 and 30 years who live in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Includes Tuesday Rendezvous, Steps, Friday Verve, a youth club in Market Harborough, 1:1 work, and an advocacy service for disabled children living in residential care in Leicestershire.


Independent Life Project

The Independent Life Project offers twenty-four hour support to disabled people living in three housing developments in Leicester.

These are: Ashthorpe Road, Harrison Court and Pelham Way. There is also an accessible flat at Harrison Court called Flat 7 which offers the chance to try out independent living, learn new skills and find out how much support you need to live independently.


Information Service

Aims to provide up to date information and advice on any topics relating to disability through a helpline (0116 2314425) and fact sheets.

Outreach workers visit disabled people in the own homes to help with benefit claims. We now offer support to challenge benefit decisions at tribunal level.


Self Directed Support Service

mosaic offers a support service to help you manage Direct Payments, Individual Budgets, Independent Living Fund and Access to Work monies through payroll and adviser support.


cre8ing Opportunities

Offers a range of opportunities that people can ‘buy’ with their Direct Payments, Individual Budgets etc

This includes the Arts and Crafts club, a group that meets in Loughborough on a Friday and individual support for a range of activities.


Aspire

Alternative Services Promoting Independence, Recreation and Education

Includes two accessible bungalows in Norfolk, an accessible narrowboat, Sailability Project and a range of day trips.


Counselling Service

mosaic offers a free, professional counselling service where counsellors are supervised in line with British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists guidelines.
