Gallery Space
With donations from Leicestershire Disabled Support Group mosaic has been able to buy a hanging system for artwork throughout the building. This has enabled mosaic to see the potential that Oak Spinney Park offers as a Gallery Space.
The aim is to arrange a series of exhibitions throughout the year. Our first was an exhibition by Victoria Penrose with a series of photographs of her father who has a brain tumour.
The second exhibition will be launched on 22 September 2011 with work by disabled people who use our services.

Room Hire
If you are looking for cost effective room hire in Leicester then why not consider using our new building?
We have 4 rooms available:
- Room 1 is suitable for up to 10 people to use
- Room 2 is suitable for up to 20 people to use
- Room 3 is suitable for up to 40 people to use (depending on seating)
- Jean’s place seats up to 15 people
The costs are as follows:
Voluntary Organisations
Room 1 – £5.50 an hour
Room 2 – £6.00 an hour
Room 3 – £6.00 and hour
Jean’s place – £5.50 an hour
Statutory or business organisations
Room 1 – £7.00 an hour
Room 2 – £8.50 an hour
Room 3 – £8.50 and hour
Jean’s place – £7.00 an hour
Other organisations genuinely without funds or grants should contact us.
Whole building – £50 whole day/£30 half day
For groups with sole use of Room 3 and Jeans Place for an event, cost negotiable. All bookings include tea and coffee at present where there is no kitchen project.
Evening openings depends on whether a member of staff attending the groups opens and closes it or whether we have to add £20 Caretaker fee.
This includes cost of “Premises Officer” to open and lock up if necessary unless a member of our staff is attending.
