mosaic news is a 20 page newsletter that goes to nearly 5000 disabled people as well as venues across Leicester Leicestershire and Rutland, although available to people across the country.

I love reading mosiac news; it is full of interesting articles and I love reading about the experiences of other disabled people. I do miss John Reading’s articles. I was sad to hear that he had died.

In the past we have published a series of articles in mosaic news called “Living With…” in 2006 34 of these articles were published in a book called Living With … The book was not a medical text book but just disabled people writing about how they live with a medical condition.

We are always looking for new Living With … articles especially since we now have funding to publish a second volume. We hope to do this by July 2012. The book will be published in memory of David Allan, a trustee who was a supporter of the first book; on his death his family gave mosaic a donation we have decided to use for this project.
